Step 1

The best varieties of apples for making marshmallows are Antonovka, Titovka, Semerenko, Welsey, etc. Rinse selected apples in warm running water. Dry the fruit lightly. Cut into halves and core with seeds.

Step 2

Pick up a pot that is comfortable in size, pour a small amount of water into it. It is enough for the water to rise 1 centimeter from the bottom. Then put the peeled apple slices into the pan, cover the pan with a lid. Set food on fire, simmer on low heat for 20 minutes. During this time, the apples will soften.

Step 3

Remove the cooked, boiled fruits from the heat, drain the excess liquid from the pan. Next, the apples must be kneaded. Better to do this with a blender.

Step 4

Prepare the oven for work, heat it to 90-100 degrees. Place baking paper on a baking sheet.

Step 5

Spread the processed apple mass in an even layer of 7-10 mm on a sheet of parchment. Place the baking sheet with the semi-finished product in the oven, leave the door ajar. Keep the composition in the oven for 6-8 hours, the time depends on the amount of cooked apple mass.

Step 6

The finished marshmallow should not crumble, this is a sign of an overdried product. The correct marshmallow has some moisture to the touch, but does not stick to your hands. Cut the apple marshmallow into wedges, if the inside of the dessert is damp, keep the pieces a little in the oven.

Step 7

Store your apple marshmallow in a glass container. In addition to slices, marshmallows can be rolled into rolls.
