In the first months of feeding, her milk is produced in very large quantities, and it would be nice if she can set aside at least some supply in case of a future departure, illness or any other extraordinary situation.

The way milk is stored depends on the time of the intended use. If you plan to store milk for a very long time, it is best to freeze it. There are special bags for freezing milk on sale, but it's okay if you don't have them. Any clean plastic bag that can be sealed or sealed will work. Insert the bag into a container, you can use a regular mug, but it is better to take a small square container. Frozen milk cubes will take up less space in the freezer.

Simply pour the expressed milk into a bag, and after freezing, remove the frozen cake and place it in the back of the freezer. In order for milk to be stored for a long time and not to lose its properties, the temperature must be kept at -18 ° C all the time.

But if you plan to feed your baby expressed milk for one day, then nothing supernatural is needed to store it. Fresh milk can be stored for 4 hours at 25 ° C without any consequences. The main condition for this is the cleanliness of the dishes into which it is poured.

And at a temperature of 20 ° C, it will last all 10 hours, so do not rush to put the bottle in the refrigerator immediately after expressing. Only if the milk needs to be stored for 10-20 hours or a little longer will it be necessary to put it in the refrigerator. Excessive cooling and heating will harm milk much more than being at room temperature. Therefore, always proceed from the situation and choose such storage conditions that will maximize the beneficial properties of breast milk.
