Stalk or root celery salads can be both light summer snack dishes and an addition to fatty grilled meats served on cold days. Depending on the recipe, they are suitable for those who follow the figure or who are looking for a new, fresh taste without worrying about calories.

- 1 celery root;
- juice from one lemon;
- 100 g yogurt;
- 2-3 cloves of garlic;
- 2-3 st. spoons of walnuts;
- mint leaves;
- salt
- ground red pepper
- Root celery salad with chicken
- 1 boiled chicken breast;
- 1 celery root;
- 1 green apple;
- 1 cup full-fat Turkish yogurt without additives
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1/3 cup shelled walnuts
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of celery seeds;
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of lemon juice;
- salt
- ground white pepper.

Step 1
Celery stalks salad with orange and lemon dressing
Remove the zest from the lemon with a fine grater, put it in the microwave for 30-40 seconds and squeeze the juice. Core and dice the apples, sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut the celery into thin slices and place with the apples, add crushed walnuts and raisins. Squeeze the juice out of the orange as well. Make a dressing with leftover lemon juice, lemon zest, orange juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Season the salad and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes. Serve on spinach leaves.

Root celery salad
Bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan. Peel the celery root and grate on a coarse grater. Place the grated celery in boiling water and cook for about 2 minutes. Drain the boiling water, rinse with cold water and pat dry the celery. Make a dressing with mustard, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Combine the dressing with celery and serve it as a stand-alone dish or as an addition to grilled meats.

Fresh Root Celery Salad with Yogurt and Mint Dressing
Peel and grate root celery. Drizzle with lemon juice. Tear the mint leaves into pieces, pass the garlic through a garlic press, mix with yogurt, season with salt and add to the celery. Decorate with walnut slices and add some red pepper.
Step 4
Root celery salad with chicken.
Tear the chicken breast into large fibers with your hands. Peel and grate the celery root and apple. Drizzle with lemon juice. Add to the chicken, put the chopped walnuts in the same place and stir. Combine the yogurt, crushed garlic, salt and pepper dressing. Season the salad, garnish with celery seeds. Serve chilled.
