Step 1
Wash celery stalks, peel dry ends and leaves, chop finely. Roots can also be used, but stems are preferred.

Peel the onion, chop into half rings or cubes. Sometimes the recipes suggest lightly frying the onions in olive oil. This should not be done - the whole point of the diet is lost. With oil, the body receives additional fats and energy, the negative calorie content of celery then simply does not work.
Step 3
Chop the cabbage into strips.
Step 4
Wash the tomatoes and pour over boiling water to easily peel off the skin. Clean up. Cut into 4 pieces. Pink tomatoes are more suitable for this soup.
Step 5
Remove the cores from the bell peppers. Cut the pods into small cubes. Green pepper is traditionally used. But you can take both orange and red. Orange sweet pepper contains substances that improve metabolism in the retina.
Step 6
Peel, dice or grate the carrots.
Step 7
Place all vegetables in a saucepan. Fill with three liters of water. Put on high heat. Bring to a boil. Then lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes until the vegetables soften.
Step 8
Put the contents of the pot in a blender and chop until puree. Add a pinch of salt (less is better) and black pepper to taste. Put on low heat again.
Step 9
Chop the herbs finely and add to the soup. Cook for another 10 minutes and the soup is ready. The Celery Soup diet is designed for 7 days. During this week, you can eat unlimited soup, any vegetables (except potatoes) and any fruits (except bananas and grapes). You can drink non-carbonated water in unlimited quantities.
