Step 1

Take a separate bowl and place in it ingredients such as kefir and 400 grams of granulated sugar. Mix everything thoroughly. By the way, if you do not have kefir, then it is quite possible to replace it with sour cream. Add the eggs and one egg yolk to the resulting mass. Add mint essence and vegetable oil there.

Step 2

Combine soda with flour and add to the sugar-kefir mass. Mix everything thoroughly. Thus, you will get a soft dough for future gingerbread. Set it aside for a while.

Step 3

Place the finished dough on a work surface and roll it out so that a layer is formed, the thickness of which is 2 centimeters. Take cookie cutters and use them to cut all kinds of shapes.

Step 4

Heat the oven to a temperature of 200-220 degrees. Do not grease the baking sheet, but just sprinkle it with flour and put the resulting various dough figurines on it. Let the gingerbread cookies bake until cooked through for about a quarter of an hour. The best way to navigate is your oven.

Step 5

Combine egg white with 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Stir the mixture thoroughly. Finish this procedure when foam starts to form.

Take a small, loose saucepan and pour 100 ml of water into it. Place on the stove and add the remaining sugar. Boil this mixture over low heat for 13 minutes. Add the sugar and egg mass to the resulting syrup. Mix thoroughly. The gingerbread frosting is ready.

Step 7

Cover the finished baked goods with glaze, preferably through a colander, and shake. Thus, the delicacy will be evenly covered with it. The gingerbreads are ready!
