For lovers of gourmet dishes, I suggest preparing a very unusual and original dessert - pears in red wine. Fruits soaked in wine and spices are sure to hit your taste buds.
It is necessary
- - pears - 6 pcs.;
- - dry red wine - 800 ml;
- - sour cream - 500 g;
- - cloves - 11 pcs.;
- - icing sugar - 50 g;
- - cinnamon - 2 sticks;
- - vanilla - 1 pod.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, peel the fruit without touching the cutting. Cut a small circle at the bottom of each pear. This must be done to ensure that they are firm enough not to fall off during cooking.
Step 2
After pouring dry red wine into a suitable sized saucepan, add the following ingredients: vanilla beans, cloves, granulated sugar and two cinnamon sticks. Mix everything and place on the stove until it boils.
Step 3
As soon as the wine boils, carefully place the prepared fruit on the bottom of the dish. Cook the dish with the lid closed for 45 minutes. The liquid should boil slightly throughout the cooking time. Also, do not forget to look at the liquid level from time to time - it should completely cover the pears. Add wine as needed.
Step 4
After 45 minutes have passed, remove the pears boiled in red wine and transfer them to the prepared dish. Cool the wine itself, removing all the spices from it.
Step 5
Sprinkle the boiled pears with powdered sugar, then carefully cover them with foil or cling film. In this form, send to the refrigerator for a while.
Step 6
After taking out the chilled dessert from the refrigerator, serve with sour cream. Pears in red wine are ready!
