It is necessary

  • - an improvised device for kneading grapes;
  • - a bottle (5, 10 or 20 l containers are desirable) with a plastic lid and a cambric or medical glove;
  • - sugar;
  • - grapes.

Instructions

Step 1

Initially, in dry weather, we collect bunches of grapes. The approximate time for harvesting Isabella grapes in central Russia begins in the second half of August and lasts until mid-September. We separate the rotten and damaged berries from the collected bunches of grapes, and we also recommend picking off the stalks. A 5 liter bottle requires at least a bucket of grapes.

Step 2

Then, using any improvised device (for example, a crush), knead the grapes. Pour the collected grape juice together with the skin and grape seeds into a bottle, about two-thirds of its volume. Add about 200-300 grams of sugar to a bottle (5 l). After that, thoroughly mix the contents of the bottle, close it with a plastic cap with a cambric (a tube from a dropper), the end of which is lowered into a bottle of water or we put a medical glove on the bottle in which we pierce a small hole with a needle.

Step 3

After the bottle is closed, it must be placed in a warm place in an apartment or house for several weeks, during which the active phase of the fermentation process takes place. Subsequently, the bottle should be rearranged to a cooler place (for example, underfloor or cellar), since the passive phase of the fermentation process begins.

Step 4

After a few months, we take out a bottle of grape wine, filter the resulting drink through cheesecloth. After that, it is ready to eat.
