Vodka is considered an original, traditional Russian drink, although its first prototype was obtained by a Persian doctor in the 11th century. Then it was used exclusively for medical purposes. Now vodka is an essential companion of almost any Russian festive feast.
Instructions
Step 1
Preparing the table
Vodka must be eaten. So it irritates the stomach less, and the intoxication process is milder. There are two types of snacks: hot and cold. Cold ones include pickles and marinades, meat, cheese cuts, jellied meat, etc. But still, hot snacks are preferable: cabbage soup, borscht, julienne, and other dishes that are served hot.
Step 2
Serving
No special serving is required, just place the snacks on the table and take out the glasses. Small glasses with a capacity of 40-80 grams are used for vodka. Also, there should be a decanter of soft drinks on the table - they should be non-carbonated.
Step 3
Use
Every glass of vodka you drink, including the first (contrary to popular belief), should be eaten. If you intend to drink several glasses, then you should not overeat immediately, it is better if the food enters the body gradually, after each glass. During the meal, you should drink a couple of glasses of soft drinks, because the body needs a lot of water to break down vodka. Also, do not forget that vodka is an independent drink; it is not recommended to combine it with other alcoholic beverages. Even classic vodka cocktails increase the risk of a hangover the next morning.
Step 4
Good morning!
If in the morning you do not feel a hangover, then the day before you have not exceeded your norm. If you feel unwell, you should limit yourself to a light breakfast, take vitamin C, folic acid and drink plenty of water in the morning, and in the future, reduce the amount of vodka you drink.
