Prunes are beneficial for the body, as they contain many minerals, vitamins, fiber and fructose, as well as a large amount of tannins and organic acids. Prune broth is no less useful.
It is necessary
- - prunes;
- - water;
- - gauze;
- - beets;
- - Hercules;
- - sugar;
- - tea.
Instructions
Step 1
As a prophylaxis for various diseases of the stomach and heart, it is enough to eat 5-6 prunes or drink 1 cup of broth per day. To prepare it, take 10-15 prunes (pitted, otherwise the drink will turn out to be bitter).
Step 2
Rinse the prunes thoroughly in warm water or pour over boiling water. Pour a liter of water over the dried fruit and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool the broth to room temperature, strain through a double layer of cheesecloth.
Step 3
If desired, you can add half a teaspoon of sugar to the broth, but not necessarily, because a properly prepared drink will itself be sweet. You can also add a little black tea to the broth of prunes. It will give the drink a warming tea scent.
Step 4
Dried fruits left after straining are suitable for adding to muesli, oatmeal, etc. You can put them whole in a dish or grind them in a blender.
Step 5
If you want to use the decoction as a stomach cleanser, use 100 grams each of washed prunes, beets and rolled oats. Pour two liters of water over all the ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Cool, strain the broth and drink 1 glass a day before bedtime.
