A noble drink liqueur is classified by strength, sweetness, by the type of alcoholic ingredient and, of course, by taste. Astringent alcohol can be fruity and berry, floral or herbal, spicy, dairy and even coffee. The latter is in great demand because it is fragrant and aromatic.
Making coffee liqueur at home is not only possible, but also not very difficult. The recipe has several options, each of which is good in its own way and has its own benefits.
Method 1
- 200 g of natural, roasted coffee;
- 850 g sugar;
- half a vanilla stick;
- liter of pure 96% alcohol.
- Prepare a strong, rich coffee by adding ground beans to ¾ liter of water.
- Stir the sugar and vanilla in the same amount of water and cook the syrup.
- Wait until everything has cooled down, remove the vanilla and mix the fragrant drink with the sugary mass.
- Add the prepared alcohol here and remove the mixture for 4 days.
Filter the drink and bottle. Take the liquor somewhere and forget about it for a while - the longer you hold the drink, the better it will turn out.
Method 2
- Take one part of natural ground coffee and 4 parts of water - brew the drink.
- Pour it into a jar and close it tightly, then remove it for a day.
- Strain the coffee through several layers of cheesecloth.
- Now make a syrup with some sugar and a couple of parts water.
- Combine 1 part brewed coffee with 3 parts syrup and add 2 parts alcohol (pure) to them.
- Shake the drink and let it sit for about six hours.
- Later, filter the composition several times to make it as transparent as possible.
The coffee liqueur according to this recipe can be consumed immediately, but if time permits, pour it into bottles and put it in a dark, warm place - let it stand.
Method 3
- high-quality, freshly roasted, ground coffee - 200 g;
- a pinch of vanilla;
- 1 liter of pure (96%) alcohol;
- milk - a couple of glasses;
- clean water - a glass;
- sugar - 1, 8 kg.
- According to this recipe, the coffee liqueur is prepared in two stages, so the ingredients are not used immediately.
- Put the coffee and vanilla in the alcohol bottle first, then plug or cover the neck with parchment paper and tighten with an elastic band.
- Place the container in a prominent place for 8 days and shake it frequently.
- When the due date has expired, strain the mixture through cheesecloth or a fine strainer, and then also through filter paper.
- Pour milk and water into the bottle, add sugar and remove the container for 4-5 days. When the deadline is up, shake the mass again.
- During this time, the sugar will dissolve, but the liquid will still be cloudy. If this is embarrassing, then after 4 days filter it again - it will become shiny, transparent, dark brown.
Method 4
This cooking option is the easiest of all.
- 100g coffee;
- 200 g sugar;
- liter of vodka.
- Brew such strong coffee from the given amount of coffee that it is impossible to drink.
- Strain the drink and pour into a bowl with sugar.
- Place the mixture in a water bath and wait for it to melt.
- Pour in a liter of vodka (but not alcohol!), Shake well and filter.
Serve coffee liqueur (diluted if you like) at the end of the meal as a digestif, add it to desserts and pastries, and just enjoy the drink in warm company.
