Strawberry liqueurs are very aromatic and have a beautiful red color. Preparing them is not difficult at all. In the original, the German Xu Xu liqueur is distinguished by the absence of sugar, but here is an analogue of the recipe with the addition of this product. The Italian recipe stands out for its long aging. But this delicious taste is well worth the wait.
Liqueur Xu Xu (analog)
We will need:
- strawberries 500 g;
- vodka 0.5 l;
- sugar 250 g;
- lemon 0.5 pieces;
- water 200 ml.
Preparation:

Cut the strawberries into several pieces.

Pour strawberries into a jar and pour vodka.
- Add the juice of half a lemon.
- Close the jar with a lid and place in a sunny place for 10 days.
- Strain the liquid through cheesecloth. Close the lid.
- Add sugar to the berries and shake. Leave for 3 days to completely dissolve the sugar.
- Strain the syrup.
- Pour water into a jar, stir and strain the syrup again.
- Mix syrup and strawberry infusion, leave for 5 days.

Strain again, bottle and drink.
Liquore di Fragole
We will need:
- strawberries 350 g;
- cinnamon sticks 1 cm;
- carnation 2 buds;
- sugar 150 g;
- zest of 2 lemons;
- bay leaf 2 pieces;
- vodka 750 ml.
Preparation:

Put strawberries, spices, 90 g of sugar, lemon zest and bay leaves in a jar.

Pour in vodka, close the lid tightly and leave in a cool dark place for 6 months
- Strain the infusion through cheesecloth, then filter through cotton wool or a filter for coffee machines.
- Pour into a jar, add 60 g of sugar and leave for another 2 weeks.
Store the finished liquor in a cool dark place.
