Chinzano's story
Vermouth of the Cinzano brand was first made in Italy in 1757. Two centuries before that, the family, whose name became the name of this alcoholic drink, became the producer of the most famous wines in Europe. The Cinzano family owned a luxurious estate and huge estates - they owned such a large piece of land that it was even singled out on the map as a separate region of the country. Of course, thanks to this, Cinzano managed to produce a lot of alcoholic beverages using his own raw materials grown on his land.
The reason for the high popularity of Cinzano drinks was not only their high quality, but also the original taste. The fact is that the company aimed primarily at experimentation. Especially many recipes were created and tested by the brothers Carlo and Giovanni, graduates of the University of Distillery in Turin. They were unusually talented and even opened a shop called "Life-giving Elixirs Workshop", where they sold their unique drinks. Among the inventions of Carlo and Giovanni was also the branded vermouth of Cinzano, which very quickly became the most popular product of their shop. Especially often it was bought by representatives of the middle class and aristocrats. Vermouth Cinzano eventually became so popular that it was ordered for the royal family.
A century after the invention of this brand of alcoholic beverage, the new manager of the company, Francesco, began to work on improving the taste of Cinzano vermouth. The recipe was changed, moreover, the buyers liked it so much that soon the drink became very popular not only in Italy, but also abroad.
