Instructions
Step 1
Make iced spiced black tea. To do this, boil water. In a teapot with a volume of 400-600 ml, put tea leaves, half a teaspoon of cinnamon or a small stick of it, a piece of peeled ginger root, cloves.
Step 2
Pour boiling water into the kettle, close the lid, cover with a towel and let it brew. The tea should be strong. Leave the brewed tea to cool.
Step 3
Take a pitcher, fill it about a third with ice. Wash the lemon, cut it into circles. Add lemon and sugar to the jug, stir. Pour the cooled tea into it, stir and let cool (about 5-6 minutes).
Step 4
Make iced mint tea. Boil two liters of water. Place five teaspoons of black tea in a small saucepan and add a glass of cane sugar. Wash the lemon and lime, squeeze the juice out of each and pour it into a saucepan. If there is no lime, you can replace it with a second lemon. Put leaves from one or two sprigs of fresh mint there.
Step 5
Pound tea, sugar and other ingredients in a saucepan with a pestle. You can use a wooden spoon instead of a pestle. Pour two liters of boiling water into a saucepan, let it brew for ten minutes.
Step 6
Strain the finished and cooled tea. Put ice in a jug (about a third of the volume) and pour tea into it.
Step 7
Make the simplest version of iced tea without the time to prepare complicated ones. Boil water, put tea in it at the rate of one teaspoon and half a liter of water. Leave the liquid to cool completely, add lemon and sugar if desired. Keep refrigerated.
