Stuffed champignons are a very original appetizer that will look great on a festive table. This dish is prepared simply and quickly, without the cost of exotic products.

- 12 large mushrooms;
- 150-200g smoked meat;
- 1 onion;
- 100g of hard cheese;
- mayonnaise to taste;
- salt to taste;
- vegetable oil for frying;
- fresh lemon juice.
Instructions
Step 1
Before you start cooking stuffed champignons, prepare the mushrooms. To do this, peel the mushrooms, rinse thoroughly under running water, dry and carefully separate the legs from the caps. After that, salt the caps well inside, and finely chop the legs.
Step 2
Take a medium-sized onion, peel, chop finely and fry in vegetable oil in a skillet until golden brown. Then add the chopped mushroom legs and fry.
Step 3
Cut the smoked meat into strips. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater. After that, combine the meat and cheese, add the fried mushroom mass and mix well.
Step 4
Now you can start stuffing the mushrooms. To do this, start each champignon cap and place at a distance of 2-3 cm from each other on a greased baking sheet. The hats can be pre-sprinkled with fresh lemon juice.
Step 5
Bake the stuffed mushrooms for twenty minutes in the oven at 1800 C. Garnish with mayonnaise before serving. Bon Appetit!
