Shawarma is an oriental dish with a spicy and pungent taste. Such an appetizer is easy to prepare at home, while any products can be wrapped in pita bread, based on individual taste preferences. Shawarma according to the proposed recipe is fragrant, has a spicy taste, and is juicy.
It is necessary
- - thin pita bread - 3 pieces;
- - chicken - 500-800 grams;
- - green salad - to taste;
- - pickled cucumbers - 6 gherkins or 3 ordinary;
- - Korean carrots - to taste;
- - tomatoes - 2 pieces;
- - mayonnaise - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the chicken into small pieces. For convenience, it is advisable to take a fillet.

Fry the chicken in a pan until golden brown, wait until it cools. It is advisable to leave the meat covered for a while after frying (20-30 minutes). This will keep it juicy.
Step 3
Chop the cucumbers finely. It is preferable to choose gherkins, they are more spicy.

Chop the tomatoes, after removing the skin. To do this, scald vegetables with boiling water.

Next, you can proceed to wrapping the shawarma. If the lavash is large, it is advisable to divide it into parts.

Spread mayonnaise evenly on top with a thin layer, distribute lettuce leaves (if desired, they can be pre-crushed).

Then distribute the chopped cucumbers and tomatoes. Put Korean carrots on top. The amount of the latter should be chosen based on taste preferences, since the product is quite spicy. It is advisable to avoid excessive contact of juice on pita bread. Otherwise, it may tear.
Step 8
The last layer is cooled chicken meat. Spread it evenly over the filling. Optionally, you can additionally grease the filling with mayonnaise.
Step 9
Gently wrap the pita bread, folding the edges so that the contents do not fall out. Next, heat the finished shawarma in the microwave until hot. Serve the dish immediately.
