It is necessary

  • - 1 onion;
  • - 2-3 tbsp. olive oil;
  • - 1 carrot;
  • - 500-600 g minced meat (beef or a mixture of beef and veal);
  • - 200 g frozen green peas;
  • - ½ glass of white wine;
  • - 150-200 g of mashed tomatoes;
  • - 300 g of boiled rice;
  • - 4 pitas;
  • - Teflon saucepan or deep frying pan.

Instructions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a skillet / saucepan. Add the onion, cut into small squares. Slice the carrots lengthwise into quarters, then slice them across (you get small quarters). Attach to the onion and stir.

Step 2

Mash the minced meat well, season with salt, pepper and other spices to taste. Add thawed peas to it. Transfer the mixture to the skillet. Reduce heat slightly and stir the minced meat with peas, onions and carrots.

Step 3

Add white wine after two minutes. Stir constantly until the drink has completely evaporated. The minced meat should look a little dry. Add mashed tomatoes to the mixture, mix well. Set the heat to low, cover and cook for another 3-7 minutes (time depends on the power of the stove).

Step 4

Add boiled rice to the minced meat mixture, mix all the ingredients. Serve in a small bowl and garnish with a sprig of herbs. If you don't like rice, use prepared minced meat as a pita filling.
