Rinse the peas well and soak in cold water for 4 hours. Drain, fill with fresh water and simmer for 1-1.5 hours without salt.
Step 2
Cut ribs and place in a saucepan with water. After boiling, reduce heat, add chopped potatoes. Cook until potatoes are tender (10-15 minutes)
Step 3
Finely chop the onion and carrots and fry over low heat with a little vegetable oil.
Step 4
Combine boiled peas with broth, add fried onions and carrots. Season with salt, pepper and cook over low heat for 7-10 minutes.
Step 5
