According to the recipe, the pancake dough becomes thick, like sour cream, yeast, kefir or sour milk can be added to it to give them splendor and lightness. For frying pancakes, it is better to use an old, cast-iron skillet, hot to the maximum.

What is needed to make pancakes?

  • flour 2 tbsp.,
  • kefir 500 ml,
  • egg 1 pc.,
  • sugar 0.5 tbsp.,
  • vinegar 1 tbsp l.,
  • soda 1 tsp.,
  • vegetable oil,
  • salt to taste.

How to cook pancakes?

  1. Take a convenient container and break the egg into it. Next, add half a glass of sugar and beat well with a mixer.
  2. Take flour and sift it into the egg mixture. After sifting, the flour is oxygenated and makes the dough more fluffy.
  3. Continuing to beat the mixture with a mixer, begin to gently add flour and pour in kefir. It is best to do this alternately to avoid the appearance of lumps. You can do it according to this scheme: pour a spoonful of flour, pour a little kefir, beat. So repeat until the ingredients are completely finished.
  4. After you deal with flour and kefir, take vinegar and soda. Put a teaspoon of baking soda in a tablespoon and start gently pouring vinegar over it. Remember to stir so that all the soda is "extinguished".
  5. Mix everything well. The dough should become like thick sour cream in consistency.
  6. Take a frying pan and pour cooking oil into it. There should be a lot of it so that the pancakes do not stick to the pan.
  7. Scoop up the dough with a tablespoon and place in the skillet. Fry on each side until a delicious crust forms.
  8. It is better to turn the pancakes with two forks.
  9. Place the pancakes on a nice platter and let cool. Then sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
