Rice cutlets are a dish that goes well with absolutely any side dishes. In addition, rice cakes can be served as a separate dish. Everyone can cook juicy and aromatic rice cutlets.
How to cook cutlets from rice and canned food
You will need:
- 1 can of canned fish (use fish either in oil or in your own juice);
- 1 glass of rice (dry);
- 1 small onion;
- 1 chicken egg;
- salt;
- bread crumbs;
- vegetable oil.
Rinse the rice in cold water, boil it until cooked through (do not overcook), drain the water, cool.
Chop the onion finely, drain the oil from the canned food and mash the fish with a fork.
In a deep bowl, combine the rice, raw chopped onions and mashed fish. Mix everything well, salt, add your favorite spices.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, form small round patties, roll them in breadcrumbs and fry on both sides until cooked.
How to cook rice and minced meat patties
You will need:
- 500 g minced meat (any can be used);
- 1 glass of cooked rice;
- an egg;
- salt;
- vegetable oil;
- spices (any, to taste).
In a bowl with a deep bottom, combine the prepared minced meat, boiled rice and egg, mix everything thoroughly. Add your favorite spices to the minced meat, salt and mix well again (to make the cutlets more fluffy, you can add a couple of tablespoons of semolina to the minced meat).
Next, preheat a frying pan, pour refined vegetable oil into it, form cutlets of the desired shape and size and fry them on both sides until tender. To make the cutlets bake faster, fry them under the lid.
