    • 4 medium beets;
    • 2 medium onions;
    • balsamic vinegar;
    • vegetable oil;
    • dill;
    • salt to taste.

    • Ingredients:
    • 500g beets;
    • 1 medium carrot;
    • 1 tablespoon flour;
    • 1 bunch of celery stalks
    • 1 bunch of fresh parsley
    • 1 glass of sour cream;
    • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • 1 teaspoon of vinegar

Step 1

Recipe number 1.

Peel two onions and cut them into small cubes.

Step 2

Heat some vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the onion in it for about 7 minutes, until tender.

Peel the beets and cut them into strips.

Step 4

Add beets to onions and sauté vegetables for 15-20 minutes. Top up with vegetable oil if necessary to prevent the vegetables from burning. Stir the vegetables constantly.

Pour clean water into the skillet. The liquid should cover half of the vegetables.

Cover the skillet with a lid and simmer over low heat. Determine the doneness of the beets: they should be soft and tasty.

Salt the finished beets and pour over balsamic vinegar, mix.

Serve the dish sprinkled with fresh dill.

Peel the beets and carrots. Grate them on a coarse grater.

Cut the celery into strips, chop the parsley.

Pour vegetable oil (preferably olive oil) into a saucepan and add vegetables to it. Light a fire.

Add 1 teaspoon of vinegar to vegetables, cover with water by a quarter. Place the lid on the pot and simmer the vegetables for 45-60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

When the vegetables are almost ready and the water has boiled away, add 1 tablespoon flour and a glass of sour cream to them. Stir. Add salt and sugar to vegetables, bay leaf to taste.

Stir all the ingredients, close the lid and continue to simmer the vegetables for another 10 minutes.
