Every third, and maybe every second person, likes purchased chips. Everyone knows that their composition leaves much to be desired. This does not mean that you do not need to eat chips at all, there is always an alternative. I suggest you make beetroot chips at home. They are not only delicious, but also very healthy.
It is necessary
- - beets - 1 kg;
- - buckwheat honey - 100 ml;
- - olive oil - 100 ml;
- - pine nuts - 50 g.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, thoroughly rinse the beets under running water. Then remove the skin from the surface of the vegetables. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut each fruit into slices or circles. Cut the way you like it. Please note that the pieces must certainly be thin.
Step 2
Put the chopped beets in a separate bowl with a fairly deep bottom. Add olive oil to the chopped vegetables. Gently mix the resulting mixture so that the oil is evenly distributed over all the beetroot pieces.
Step 3
Cover the baking tray with either food foil or special baking paper, that is, parchment, and spread the buttery pieces of beet on it so that there is some distance between the slices. In this form, place the future beet chips in the oven and bake them at 200 degrees for half an hour.
Step 4
In the meantime, chop up the pine nuts. You can grind them or just crush them in a mortar. Combine the resulting nut mass with buckwheat honey. Mix everything until smooth.
Step 5
After the time has elapsed, remove the baked beets from the oven and apply a mixture of buckwheat honey and pine nuts to each piece. Put the dish back in the oven, but now for only 5 minutes.
Step 6
After 5 minutes have passed, remove the baked vegetables from the oven and let cool completely. Beet chips are ready!
