A quick recipe for marinade for hostesses

If you do not have extra time to spend on kitchen fuss with complex recipes, this marinade was created just for you. Soak the cucumbers for two hours - let them sit in the water while you marinade. Take 1 liter of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of salt, 2-3 peas of allspice, 1-2 cloves and bay leaves, 3 currant leaves, 2-3 umbrellas of dill and the same amount of garlic cloves.

If you are canning cucumbers in a liter jar, add ½ teaspoon citric acid to the marinade.

After preparing the marinade for cucumbers, you need to remove the vegetables from the water, pour boiling water over them and let them cool. Then place them in clean glass jars, fill with marinade, securely preserve with airtight lids and wrap them in a warm blanket. After the cucumbers are completely cool, place them in a cool, dark place where they will be stored until winter. Check the preservation periodically for swelling or other undesirable phenomena.

Spicy marinade with oak and cherry leaves

To prepare a spicy marinade, take on a three-liter jar strong young cucumbers (size 6-7 cm) 3-4 pieces of cherry leaves, currants, oak and horseradish, 2-3 cloves of garlic, 1-2 umbrellas of dill, red hot pepper (by taste) and 3 tablespoons of salt. Place in a jar garlic, dill, oak leaves, cherries and currants, horseradish and pepper. Pour salt there, removing the excess salt slide from a tablespoon with a knife, and carefully place the cucumbers, pouring all the ingredients with tap water and closing the jar with a nylon lid. Leave it to stand for two days so that the cucumbers are well salted, and remember that if during the salting process they begin to foam, this is not a problem, but a perfectly acceptable phenomenon.

When using this marinade recipe, there is no need to sterilize glass jars for preservation.

After two days, pour the brine from the jar into a saucepan and boil it for 2-5 minutes. Pour the hot marinade back into the jar of cucumbers so that it completely covers them. If there is not enough marinade, add boiling water to it. Cover the jar with a metal or nylon lid and place the conservation in the basement or cellar. Using this recipe for a spicy marinade, you will prepare excellent crispy cucumbers for the winter, which will suit both main courses and a traditional Russian alcoholic drink.
