I want to share with you this unique and simplest recipe.
These pies have been praised by my sister more than once, I could not believe how easy they can be made. I always tried to buy fermented milk products and somehow reacted with distrust at first to the recipe on water.
- Wheat flour - 6 tbsp. l;
- Salt - 2 tsp;
- Sugar - 2 tbsp. l;
- Vegetable oil - 6 tbsp. l;
- Water (boiling water) - 2 cups (400 ml);
- Dry yeast - 15 g (you can live 50 g);
- Not hot water, boiled - 400 ml;
- Wheat flour - 1 - 1, 2 kg;
- Vegetable oil (for frying) - 300 ml.
We combine flour, salt, sugar, vegetable oil, pour everything with two glasses of boiling water, mix well so that all the ingredients dissolve, let cool slightly.
Dissolve yeast in 400 ml of warm water and add to the cooled mixture, mix everything. The remaining flour is gradually introduced into the resulting mixture, stirring constantly. It took me about 1-1, 2 kg. We knead the dough with our hands, as for ordinary pies (the dough should not be very steep, it should stick slightly to our hands). We put it in a warm place, having previously covered it with a towel, it takes about half an hour on average, you can put it in a warm oven.
When the dough has come, put it on the table, form into balls. Pour a small amount of vegetable oil or flour on the table first. Roll the formed balls with a rolling pin to the desired size, add the filling you like and fry in a pan, in a large amount of oil. Pies come out on average 45-50 pieces, depending on what kind of balls you have. The dough is very crispy. If you need to make a portion smaller, just separate all the ingredients. I always put napkins on the dish so that the excess oil is absorbed.
