In almost any refrigerator there are leftovers of food that you do not want to eat up, and it’s a pity to throw it away, and you’ll break your head until you figure out what to cook from them. A way out of this situation can be a meatloaf. It is easy to cook and healthier to serve than modern sausage made of some unknown source.
It is necessary
- Chicken fillet - 150 grams;
- Duck fillet - 100 grams;
- Goose meat fillet - 100 grams;
- Hard cheese - 50 grams;
- Fatter cream - 25 grams;
- Egg whites - 2 pieces;
- Canned green peas - 50 grams;
- Ham - 50 grams;
- Beef liver - 25 grams;
- Favorite bouquet of herbs and spices.
Instructions
Step 1
All bird fillets must be thawed at room temperature and washed. Put in a saucepan, add water to cover the meat, salt and boil until tender. If you can't find duck and goose fillets, then you can simply take more chicken or replace them with turkey.
Step 2
The beef liver must also be defrosted, rinsed, excess fat and films removed, and then soaked in milk for a couple of hours. This will remove the bitter taste and add extra softness to the liver. Then it needs to be boiled, separately from poultry meat.
Step 3
The next step is to thoroughly grind the boiled fillets and liver: pass them through a meat grinder or use a food processor. And beat thoroughly, giving them the consistency of a soufflé.
Step 4
Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Drain the excess liquid from the peas. Cut the ham into small cubes. Chop the greens thoroughly. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add spices, herbs, cream to them and beat everything.
Step 5
Combine all products and mix thoroughly. Put the mixture on a roasting sleeve, shape it into a roll and seal in foil.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 150-170 degrees on a thermometer and place the roll in it. Bake until golden brown.
