Sausages are a great option for a quick breakfast or dinner. They are usually boiled, but fried sausages are delicious too. Try cooking them in the microwave - the process will only take a few minutes, and the dish will turn out to be healthier.
Boiled sausages
It is not difficult to cook sausages in the microwave - it is only important to choose the right dishes and not pour too much water. Remove the plastic wrap, if present. Place the sausages in a plastic saucepan and cover with water so that the liquid only slightly covers them. Cover the saucepan with a lid or plate and place in the microwave. Cook the sausages at full power for 2 minutes, then remove, place on plates and serve.
Baked sausages
This dish cooks very quickly. Any sausages, smoked sausages or small sausages are suitable for him. Serve with toasted toast and spicy tomato or garlic sauce.
Cut the sausages crosswise at the ends. Place them on a plate, cover with a microwave-safe lid and bake for 3 minutes at maximum power.
Sausages with cheese
This mouth-watering dish can be a beer snack or a simple dinner. Supplement meat products with green salad and fresh vegetables.
You will need:
- 4 sausages;
- 100 g of cheese;
- dried herbs (basil, celery, oregano);
- ground black pepper.
Arrange the sausages on a plate, cutting each in the middle. Pour some spicy herbs into the cut, add ground black pepper. Place the plate in the microwave for 2 minutes. Cut the cheese into thin slices and place over the cut. Place the plate in the microwave again. Bake the sausages for 1 minute at maximum power - the cheese should melt. Serve with fresh black or wholegrain bread.
Sausages in potato dough
Sausages prepared in this way will be an excellent dish for lunch or dinner.
You will need:
- 300 g of sausages;
- 800 g of boiled potatoes;
- 2 eggs;
- 250 g wheat flour;
- 100 g semolina;
- 50 g butter;
- 100 g of spicy cheese;
- salt.
Crush hot boiled potatoes, making mashed potatoes. For greater uniformity, root vegetables can be minced. Add egg, flour, semolina and salt. Knead the dough until smooth. Roll it into a layer on a floured board, and then cut it into rectangles the size of the sausages.
Free the sausages from the plastic, place them on the potato squares and pinch the edges of the dough thoroughly. Melt the butter and whisk with the egg. Brush the sausages in the dough with this mass. Spread them out on a microwave-safe dish and sprinkle each with grated cheese.
Place the dish in the microwave and bake for 6-7 minutes on medium power. The cheese should melt completely.
