Cottage cheese is very useful for the child's body, but not all children agree to eat it. You can try to get out of this situation by preparing a dish that is not only tasty and healthy, but also attractive for the baby.
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 200 g of cottage cheese (low-fat);
- 2 tbsp Sahara;
- A pinch of kitchen salt;
- 6 tbsp flour.
Preparation:
- Kill the cottage cheese with an immersion blender (or in another way convenient for you) until a homogeneous consistency. Thanks to this, the dumplings will be more tender, and your baby will not notice the presence of cottage cheese.
- Mix cottage cheese with sugar and a pinch of kitchen salt and mix well.
- Add chicken eggs to the curd and beat with a blender or by hand until smooth.
- Sift flour and add a little to the curd-egg mixture. You don't need to add much flour. Otherwise, the dough will become too steep and the dumplings are hard.
- Sprinkle flour on the table. Put our dough on it. And roll it out with a rolling pin, also pre-sprinkled with flour. The thickness of our layer should be somewhere around 0.5 centimeters.
- In order for lazy dumplings to be attractive to a child, you need to take molds, for example, for cutting shaped cookies, and cut out figures from the dough with their help. Roll out the cuttings and cut the figures again.
- Shake the prepared dumplings a little from the flour and send them to boiling water to boil. Stir so that they do not stick together.
- After boiling, make the fire quieter and cook for 7 minutes.
- Remove the prepared dumplings from the water with a slotted spoon, put on a plate. When serving, turn on your imagination. You can decorate with powdered sugar or sour cream, and put berries on top that your baby likes. In winter, you can use fresh frozen berries, preserves or marmalades.
