It is necessary

  • -750 grams of beef,
  • -400 grams of champignons,
  • -1 onion,
  • - thyme and thyme to taste,
  • -6 Art. tablespoons of olive oil
  • -250 grams of puff pastry,
  • -1 egg,
  • -salt to taste,
  • -10 peppercorns.

Instructions

Step 1

We wash the beef, dry it with napkins. We remove the film and fat. Cut off the tail (thinning the piece).

Step 2

Cut the peeled onion into medium cubes. Cut the champignons into large cubes or cut in half, if desired. Grind the peppercorns.

Step 3

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. We heat the oil until a slight haze appears. Put a piece of meat in the heated oil, fry until golden brown for 45 seconds on each side. All sides of the meat should be golden brown. There is no need to salt the meat.

Step 4

Heat a small amount of oil in the second pan and fry the onion in it (no more than two minutes). Then add mushrooms to the onion and add a little oil. Fry for about 8 minutes, then add a little salt. Season to taste with thyme.

Step 5

We take out the fried meat, rub with chopped pepper and salt a little.

Step 6

Put the fried mushrooms and onions in a blender, chop. Transfer to a cup and set aside to cool.

Step 7

Roll out a sheet of puff pastry. Put two tablespoons of mushroom puree in the center of the dough. Put the meat on mashed potatoes, mushroom puree on top. Stick the remaining puree on the sides of the meat. We bring the edge of the puff pastry to the center and stick together.

Step 8

Put a sheet of parchment on a baking sheet, on which we transfer the meat in the dough with the seam down. Cover the surface of the dough with a beaten egg. We bake the meat in the oven at 180 degrees for half an hour.
