Meat is an almost irreplaceable product on any table. It can be baked, boiled, stewed, fried. Meat is combined with any side dish. Dishes from it are appropriate both on weekdays and on holidays. Roast the meat in the oven in one piece - this dish may well replace the traditional sausage.

It is necessary

    • 1 kg of pork;
    • 1 carrot;
    • 4 cloves of garlic;
    • salt;
    • ground black pepper;
    • mayonnaise.

Instructions

Step 1

To cook meat roasted in the oven as a whole, you need 1 kg of pork. A shoulder blade or ham with a little lard is best. Rinse it in cool water and pat dry with a paper towel.

Step 2

1 small carrot, peel, rinse, cut in half. Then cut it into small pieces.

Step 3

Peel 4 cloves of garlic, cut lengthwise into 4 pieces.

Step 4

Punch holes in the pork piece with a wide, sharp knife. Lightly salt the meat in the cuts, insert one block of carrot and one garlic into them. Lash the whole piece evenly.

Step 5

Add some salt and black pepper to mayonnaise. Mix everything thoroughly and rub the entire piece prepared for frying with this mixture. Place the meat in the refrigerator for 2-2.5 hours to marinate.

Step 6

Place the marinated meat in a saucepan or other ovenproof dish with a lid. Pour some water into it and fry with the lid closed for 40 minutes over the highest heat.

Step 7

Reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees and continue to fry the meat until tender (about 1 hour). During this time, the juice that flows out of the meat when pierced with a knife will become transparent. During the frying process, pour the melted fat over the pork.

Step 8

Cut the cooked meat, fried in one piece, into slices and serve hot with any side dish. You can let the meat cool, chop it and serve as a cold snack. Adjika, horseradish and mustard go well with such meat. Place a plate with cold cuts on the festive table. Offer your homemade sandwich for breakfast. It is convenient to take it on the road or for lunch at work.

Bon Appetit!
