It is necessary

  • 400 g of pork (if you like less fatty dishes, then cook buckwheat like a merchant with chicken);
  • 1 glass of buckwheat;
  • 1 medium-sized carrot;
  • 1 medium onion;
  • 1 garlic clove;
  • 1 bay leaf;
  • vegetable oil for frying;
  • salt and spices at your discretion.

Instructions

Step 1

We begin to cook buckwheat like a merchant. First of all, wash the meat, remove excess fat and inedible parts from it. Cut the pork into small pieces, place it in a preheated pan flavored with vegetable oil.

Step 2

Fry the meat for 5-7 minutes, then pour water into the pan so that the liquid covers the pork. Add lavrushka, salt and spices to your taste. Cover the skillet with a lid and simmer the meat until cooked over low heat.

Step 3

Sort the buckwheat, pour boiling water over the clean product and let stand for 5 minutes. Drain the water.

Step 4

In a separate frying pan, fry the peeled and chopped onions and grated carrots.

Step 5

Put the prepared vegetables to the meat, squeeze the garlic there, add buckwheat. Stir the ingredients and pour in hot water so that the liquid is about 1 finger higher than the food.

Step 6

Cover the frying pan with a lid, let the buckwheat simmer like a merchant over low heat. The dish is ready when all the liquid has been absorbed and the cereal is soft.

Step 7

You can serve buckwheat in a merchant way with fresh or salted vegetables.
