Step 1

Peel the silver carp, separate the head, cut the fish itself into portions. Take your time to get rid of the fish head - it's perfect for soup, so you can put it in the freezer.

Salt fish pieces to taste, pepper, add ground ginger. Store in a cool place for 5-10 minutes.

Peel the onions, chop them coarsely, fry in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil until transparent. You can season the onions with chili or dried garlic. Transfer the fried onions to a plate.

Heat the remaining vegetable oil in the same skillet. Mix flour with curry. Roll the pieces of fish in the breading. Put in hot oil, fry over medium heat until golden brown.
