Poultry rolls can be served both as a main course and as a snack. The chilled roll is perfect for breakfast sandwiches. You can use any bird for making a roll; a turkey dish will turn out to be very tasty and tender.

It is necessary

  • Ingredients for 4-6 servings:
  • - turkey fillet - 800 g;
  • - feta cheese - 200 g;
  • - pitted olives - 200 g;
  • - 2-3 cloves of garlic;
  • - 2 spoons of capers;
  • - 100 g fresh spinach;
  • - a bunch of parsley and a couple of thyme sprigs;
  • - olive oil;
  • - salt and pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the turkey fillet (preferably using the breast) in half lengthwise, but not completely. We open it like a book. Put the turkey fillet cut side up, cover with several layers of cling film and beat with a hammer or rolling pin, being careful not to tear the meat!

Step 2

Getting started filling: grind capers, olives, parsley and garlic in a blender. Mix the filling with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Crumb the cheese, remove the stems from the thyme, mix the thyme leaves with the cheese.

Step 3

Rinse the spinach and dry it with a towel.

Step 4

Remove the film from the turkey, lay out the filling in the following order: spinach leaves, cheese with thyme, a mixture of olives, capers, garlic and butter. We roll the turkey into a roll.

Step 5

We wrap the roll in parchment paper, as tightly as possible. We wrap the ends so that the externally wrapped roll resembles candy. We wrap the roll in foil so that moisture does not get into it during the cooking process.

Step 6

Put the roll in a saucepan with a thick bottom, fill it with boiling water until the middle, cook on a minimum heat for 50 minutes under a lid.

Step 7

The roll can be served hot or chilled, cut into neat slices 2-2.5 centimeters thick.
