It is necessary

    • rice - 2 cups;
    • salmon (crab sticks) - 100 g;
    • nori - 2 pcs;
    • cucumber (avocado) - 1 pc;
    • bamboo mat;
    • soy sauce.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, prepare the right rice for the rolls. The rice should be moderately spicy and sticky. Take 2 cups of rice. Rinse thoroughly in cold water. When the water becomes cloudy, drain it. Repeat this until the water is completely clear. This will mean that the rice is washed from dust, husks and everything else. Leave the rice in cold, clean water for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Place two glasses of rice in a saucepan and cover with two glasses of water. Cover the saucepan with a lid and place over low heat. When the water starts to boil, turn the heat up to maximum. Wait for the moment when the water begins to boil and turn down the heat. Simmer until all the water is absorbed into the rice. Turn off the gas and place a paper towel between the pot and lid. After 20-25 minutes, add the vinegar mixture to the rice. Rice for rolls is ready. Add the vinegar mixture to it, but don't overdo it.

Step 3

Prepare a bamboo mat. Wrap it in cling film. This will prevent the rice from sticking to the mat. Cut a standard nori sheet into 2 pieces. Then the rolls will be small, which is very convenient.

Step 4

Place the cooked nori sheet on the bamboo mat, smooth side down. Put rice on it. Layer thickness approx. 5 mm. Spread the rice evenly, do not "break". From the edge closest to you, leave a free strip of nori (about 1 cm). Flip the sheet over quickly so the rice is on the mat. Now take the wasabi and apply a thin layer in the center of the sheet. Place the cucumbers cut into strips on this layer. Nearby, also with straws, is a layer of salmon. Fish can be replaced with crab sticks, and cucumbers with avocados.

Step 5

Roll up the mat. Squeeze so that your rolls take the correct shape. Roll the mat several times to make the edges of the rice stick together.

Step 6

Now cut the rolls into 6-8 pieces with a sharp knife. You can add some salmon or caviar on top. Bon Appetit.
