Summer is a wonderful time, generous with the harvest of vegetables and berries. At the beginning of summer, a tasty and aromatic berry ripens - strawberries. Let's make strawberry pie, cocktail, dessert and jam.
Strawberry pie
You will need:
- ready-made biscuit cake;
- strawberries - 250 g;
- cottage cheese - 200 grams;
- cream - 400 grams;
- gelatin - 40 grams;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- sugar - 1 glass;
- a pinch of vanilla sugar;
- white chocolate - 1 bar;
- sachet of thickener for cream - 2 pcs.;
- a bag of strawberry jelly - 1 pc.
Preparation:
Beat the egg with sugar into a thick mass, then while beating add a pinch of vanilla sugar. Dissolve the gelatin previously soaked in water. Gradually introduce gelatin and chocolate melted in a water bath into the egg mass. Add pureed low-fat cottage cheese. Mix everything well. Combine with whipped cream with thickener and mix thoroughly again.
Put the biscuit cake on a dish, and put a split ring around. Lay half the berries on top, cut in half, then curd cream. Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes. Put the remaining berries on the slightly frozen curd cream, pour strawberry jelly prepared according to the instructions on the package. Refrigerate for 6 hours.
Strawberry cocktail
You will need:
- milk - 1 liter;
- banana - 2 pcs.;
- strawberries - 300 grams;
- oatmeal - 3-5 tablespoons;
- honey to taste;
- fresh mint leaves and 1 large strawberry
Preparation:
Pour chilled milk into a blender, add the rest of the cocktail ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour into tall glasses. Serve with a large-diameter cocktail straw and garnish with whole strawberries and mint leaves.
Strawberry jam
You will need:
- strawberries - 1 kg;
- sugar - 1, 5 - 2 kg;
Preparation:
If the strawberries are ripe, then 1.5 kg of sugar is enough. Rinse strawberries in cold water and remove the stalks. Pour strawberries into an enamel bowl or saucepan, cover with sugar about 500 grams and leave overnight.
After the berry gives juice and the sugar dissolves a little, add another 500 grams of sugar and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally. If foam appears, then it must be removed. We are waiting for the jam to boil. Turn off the heat 5 minutes after boiling and leave for 30 minutes. Then again add 500 grams of sugar and cook over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Turn off the heat and leave the strawberry jam to cool. Pour the jam into clean and dry jars and close the lids. Store in a cool place.
Dessert with strawberries
You will need:
- puff pastry - 400 grams;
- small corrugated muffin cups
- strawberries - 100 grams;
- fat cream - 100 grams;
- icing sugar - 1 tbsp. l.;
- nuts
Preparation:
Roll out the finished puff pastry 3-4 mm thick and cut into 8 by 8 cm squares. Place in muffin tins, pulling the corners of the dough to the edges of the pan. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and bake the baskets until tender. Then refrigerate them.
Beat the cream until a firm foam, combine with powdered sugar and beat again. Chop the nuts. Arrange in baskets and garnish with strawberries.
