This soufflé will serve as a great snack or dessert, and not only for those who strive for a slim figure! Serve it with a spoonful of cold sour cream - it will turn out very elegant and refreshing!
It is necessary
- - 2 carrots;
- - 2 apples;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 2 tbsp. brown sugar;
- - 2 tsp vanilla sugar;
- - 2 tbsp. wheat bran;
- - 2 tbsp. wheat germ;
- - 1 tsp cinnamon.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the carrots and cut into small cubes. Cut the apple into several pieces and remove the core. Place them on the first level of the steamer and cook for about 10-15 minutes, until tender.
Step 2
Let the apples and carrots cool slightly. Remove the peel from the first: it will very easily come off the pulp after cooking. Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 3
In a separate container, beat eggs with sugar until fluffy. The use of sugar is optional: you do not need to add it if you come across sweet carrots and apples!
Step 4
Add carrot and apple puree, bran, wheat germ, a teaspoon of cinnamon to the eggs. If desired and to taste, you can also add nutmeg, cardamom and other spices … Transfer the mixture to molds, cover with heat-resistant cling film and put in a double boiler for about 25 minutes. Serve without removing from the mold.
