Many gourmets are very fond of the combination of juicy meat with aromatic potatoes. If you are not indifferent to such a harmonious duet, and the oven is your best friend in the kitchen, then you will surely like creamy pork potatoes. This dish is very simple to prepare, but the taste comes from the category of "lick your fingers"!
It is necessary
- - small potatoes - 1, 2 kg;
- - pork (carbonate) - 0.5 kg;
- - garlic - 3 cloves;
- - cream with a fat content of 20% - 200 ml;
- - butter - 100 g;
- - vegetable oil for lubrication;
- - fresh dill - 0.5 bunch;
- - ground black pepper;
- - salt;
- - baking dish.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the pork under running water, dry and cut into pieces 5-7 mm wide. Place each piece in turn on a cutting board and beat lightly with a hammer on both sides.
Step 2
Peel the garlic cloves. Chop one of them finely. Add black pepper and salt to it, mix everything and rub the broken pieces of pork with this mixture. Roll each piece into a roll.
Step 3
Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 200 degrees. While it is warming up, peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Place potato slices and pork rolls in alternate layers. Sprinkle the potatoes lightly with black pepper and salt.
Step 5
Place the dish in a preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. After the time is up, pour the cream over the potatoes and meat and cook in the oven for another half hour.
Step 6
While the pork and potatoes are baking, prepare the butter sauce for them. Melt the butter on the stove or in the microwave. Chop the dill and the remaining two cloves of garlic and mix them with the melted butter. Leave some dill for garnish if desired.
Step 7
When the dish is ready, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle the potatoes with chopped dill on top. Divide food into portions and place on plates. Serve with butter sauce and a fresh vegetable salad.
