    • 4 large potatoes;
    • 300 ml cream;
    • 250 g spinach;
    • 100 g cubed bacon;
    • half an onion;
    • 150 g of cheese;
    • vegetable oil;

Step 1

Put a large pot of water on the fire, bring to a boil, add 1 teaspoon of salt to it. Peel the potatoes, cut them into transverse slices about 1 centimeter wide. Place the potatoes in boiling water and cook for 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of the tubers and the resulting pieces.

Step 2

For the dish, it's best to take fresh spinach, but if you didn't have one, that's okay. It is quite possible to replace it with fresh frozen, which can be added to the prepared dish immediately, without preliminary processing. Fresh ones will have to be washed well and cut off the petioles from the leaves.

Step 3

Pour some vegetable oil into the pan and fry the bacon cubes in it. Gradually add spinach to it in small portions, and simmer until the leaves fall off and diminish in size.

Step 4

If you like onions, you will need to add them to the fried bacon just before the spinach. Just chop half an onion and brown it.

Step 5

Turn on the oven in the mode of simultaneous heating from the top and bottom, heat it to 200 ° C. If your oven has a hot air blowing function, it will be enough to heat it up to 180 ° C.

Take a medium-sized bowl. Grate cheese into it, pour cream over it, mix well. Season the mixture to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper.
