- - 2 tbsp. l. butter
- - 200 g of any hard cheese
- - 400 ml cream
- - pepper
- - salt
- - nutmeg

Step 1
My potatoes, peel and cut into thin slices. In a baking dish, lay out potatoes, salt, pepper and nutmeg in layers.
Step 2
Fill everything with cream. They should completely cover our potatoes. Cream can be used in any fat content, it all depends on your taste.
Step 3
Grate the cheese beforehand. Take only hard cheese, sausage will not give such a taste and effect. Sprinkle our dish with cheese and send the baking sheet to the oven, which is heated to 180 degrees. The cooking time is 1 hour 15 minutes.
Step 4
In order to make sure that our dish is ready, you need to pierce the potatoes with a stick or fork. If the stick enters freely, then you can safely remove the dish from the oven. If it crunches a little, then leave it for another 15 minutes, and then check.
