Mackerel baked in foil is an incredibly tasty fish that can be easily prepared. Baked mackerel retains almost all of its beneficial qualities.
To cook mackerel baked in foil, you will need the following ingredients: 1 mackerel, 1 ripe tomato, 0.5 onions, black pepper, basil, parsley, dill, salt. To lubricate the foil, you need 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
The mackerel carcass is thoroughly washed in cold running water and dried with paper towels. Then the fish is gutted by making a longitudinal incision in the abdomen. The entrails are removed and the fish is washed again, removing the black film from the inner surface of the ribs. The head, gills, fins and tail of the carcass are cut off. The mackerel is cut along the ridge and the vertebral bone is removed. Use tweezers and kitchen scissors to remove the ribs.
Tomatoes are cut into circles of medium thickness. Peeled onions and cut into rings. The carcass is cut across into several approximately equal parts. The foil is spread on a baking sheet, greased with a small amount of vegetable oil and the fish are collected on it.
