Here is a recipe for a simple and delicious lemon-based cookie. Indulge your loved ones with tea with this aromatic delicacy.
It is necessary
- Required: 250 grams of flour (you may need a little less or more),
- 100 g of sugar (for those with a sweet tooth - 150 g is possible),
- 100 grams of cold butter
- half a lemon with the peel, but no seeds,
- 0.5 tsp baking powder,
- 2 eggs - one in the dough, the second for coating,
- vanilla sugar (1 tsp) - optional,
- a pinch of salt,
- cane sugar (for decoration; can be replaced with sesame seeds, nuts, poppy seeds) - optional.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel half of the lemon from seeds and grind in a blender in mashed potatoes.
Step 2
Grate cold butter, mix with sugar and vanilla sugar, egg, a pinch of salt.
Step 3
Add 200 grams of flour with baking powder to the mixture and mix until smooth. If the dough does not stick to your hands, then we do not pour flour anymore. If the dough sticks, then add more flour (1 tablespoon, kneading each time) until a soft, but not sticky dough is obtained.
Step 4
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3-5 mm, cut into triangles.
We roll each triangle into tubes, starting at the wide end.
Put a sheet of baking paper on a baking sheet, on top of it - our cookies.
Step 5
Beat an egg in a cup and coat the cookies with it. Top with cane sugar, or poppy seeds, sesame seeds, etc.
In an oven preheated to 160 degrees, bake the cookies for 15 minutes until a blush appears.
