If you want to pamper your household with an original, tasty and at the same time healthy dish, then the best way out of this situation is to cook an egg roll. The roll is ideal for family breakfasts, it can be served as a gourmet appetizer for a festive table.

The main advantages of an egg roll are ease of preparation, interchangeability of ingredients, and the use of healthy products.

To prepare a roll, you will need the following products:

  • raw eggs 3-4 pcs;
  • sour cream or homemade mayonnaise - 100 g;
  • soft curd cheese - 100 g;
  • fresh or dried herbs;
  • filling to taste.

Lightly salted red fish, crab sticks, fried minced meat or chicken, a mixture of walnuts with garlic, vegetables, etc. can be used as a filling for a roll.

Soft curd cheese can be replaced with processed cheese or curd mixed with mayonnaise or sour cream.

The first way to make an egg roll

The eggs are mixed with sour cream (can be replaced with milk or cream), spices are added to taste, and a few pancakes are fried in a large non-stick frying pan.

The cooking technique is the same as for frying an omelet, only the egg pancakes are fried on both sides.

After the pancakes have cooled down a little, each of them is coated with curd cheese, sprinkled with herbs and a pre-prepared filling is placed on top of the cheese.

Egg pancakes are carefully rolled into a tube, cut into portions, garnished with herbs and served.

The second way to make an egg roll

Beat the eggs with sour cream and spices, after which the mixture is poured onto a baking sheet covered with baking paper.

To prevent the mixture from spreading, small sides can be made on the paper, carefully fastened to each other at the corners.

The form with the egg mixture is placed in an oven preheated to 150-170 degrees and the omelet is baked until fully cooked. The baking time depends on the characteristics of the operation and the power of the oven.

The finished omelet is cooled a little, after which the prepared filling is evenly spread on it.

Using paper, the omelet is carefully rolled into a tube and put into the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. The chilled roll is cut into separate portions and served.
