Squid, like other seafood, are very useful. They are a source of iodine and other trace elements. Korean-style marinated squid is very tasty, such a dish can decorate any festive table. Cooking squid is quite simple and quick, but while they are marinated, you can safely do other things.
It is necessary
- - 0.5 kg of squid carcasses;

- - two large carrots;
- - one teaspoon of sugar;

- - five tablespoons of vegetable oil;

Step 1
First, you need to thoroughly peel the squid. To do this, pull out the chord and rinse the carcasses under running water. Now boil the water and dip the squid carcasses in boiling water. They should cook for one minute. After that, immediately remove the squid from the saucepan and place it in a previously prepared container. Squids cooked in this way have a very delicate taste. If you accidentally overcook carcasses, they can lose their taste and even become "rubbery".
Step 2
Wait for the squid to cool, then cut them into strips or rings. Place the squid pieces in a deep bowl and start preparing the vegetables. Peel the onions and cut them into small strips. Now heat the skillet well, pour two tablespoons of vegetable oil into it and put the onions in it. Now you need to salt it and add sesame seeds. All this beauty must be fried until golden brown, stirring slowly with a spatula. It will take you about five minutes to fry the onions. After that, you need to wait until the onion has cooled down and add it to the sliced squid.
Step 3
Now take the carrots, wash them, peel and grate with large holes. It is better, of course, to use a special grater, with which carrots are usually cooked in Korean. Put the grated carrots on a preheated frying pan, after pouring three tablespoons of vegetable oil on it. You also need to add sugar and paprika to the carrots. Now roast the carrots for five minutes. Keep in mind that the fire should be quite high, so make sure to stir the carrots regularly to prevent them from burning. After frying, let the mixture cool and add to the squid and onion.
Step 4
Take garlic, peel it and pass it through a special garlic press, add to squid and vegetables. Vinegar is used as a marinade in Korean squid, do not forget to add it, the main thing is not to overdo it. Mix everything thoroughly.
