History is silent about how and when shrimp were first cooked as an independent dish. However, it is known for certain about their excellent taste, tender meat and beneficial properties. In my opinion, shrimp cooked in a creamy sauce, with a light aroma of white wine, garlic and herbs, is the most delicious.

It is necessary

  • - 500 grams of peeled shrimp;
  • - 200 milliliters of heavy cream;
  • - 50 grams of butter;
  • - 50 milliliters of white wine;
  • - 4 cloves of garlic;
  • - half a lemon;
  • - parsley;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a frying pan and melt the required amount of butter on it. Peel and finely chop the garlic, then add it to the pan. As soon as the garlic becomes transparent and emits a characteristic aroma, squeeze the juice from half a lemon into the pan, stir the ingredients.

Step 2

Then add white wine and cream to the ingredients, salt. Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat. As soon as the sauce boils, put the peeled shrimps in the pan, simmer for 8-10 minutes.

Step 3

Remove the shrimps from the sauce and place them on a plate. Continue simmering the sauce until the amount is halved. When it gets thicker, turn off the heat. Place the shrimp in the creamy sauce.

Step 4

Rinse parsley or other herbs under running water, dry and chop finely. Sprinkle with herbs and serve.
