Every Soviet pioneer at least once in his life has tried caramel with the sweet and promising name "cockerel on a stick". Now you will not see such on sale. Is it possible to fill this gap in the world of consumption and make a lollipop at home?

Step 1
Lollipop is a sweet, hardened mass made from boiled sugar. To enjoy this miracle it was more convenient, during the preparation process, the lollipop is fixed on a convenient wooden stick.
Step 2
To make sugar candies, you need a special container. If such a container is not at hand, use a regular frying pan. Pour 100 g of water, 250 g of sugar into a bowl. Place the container on a preheated stove for about ten minutes.
Step 3
Watch the color of the resulting mixture. If a shade of dark brown appears, this means that the sugar begins to burn, it is digested. Undercooked sugar will harden properly. Carefully follow the process of making candies, it is strongly not recommended to be distracted.
Step 4
And here is the recipe for making lollipops from burnt sugar. Add a tablespoon of powdered sugar to 250-300 g of granulated sugar. A little cognac will do the trick. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and place it on a hot stove. Stir the contents of the pan thoroughly and actively, continuing the process for no more than a minute. After removing the pot from the stove, add some lemon juice to the mixture.
Step 5
Pour the resulting viscous syrup into pre-prepared molds. Stock up on chopsticks for the convenience of holding the future lollipop in your hand. It should be placed in the mold until the lollipop has set and takes the required shape.
Step 6
Chocolate candies are prepared as follows. Mix two cups of sugar, a tablespoon of honey, and a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil. Pour all this with five tablespoons of boiled water. Stir the ingredients well and place the saucepan over the fire.
Step 7
An indicator of the readiness of the candies will be the instant thickening of the cooked chocolate mass if you drop it into water. It remains to pour the mass into forms (do not forget about the sticks). By the way, if you want to pamper yourself with red candies, then add raspberry syrup to the mixture.
