Do you think diet and candy are incompatible things? Not necessary at all! There are several recipes for low-calorie homemade treats, the taste of which will pleasantly surprise you.
Chickpea truffles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup dry chickpeas
- 10 teaspoons of cocoa powder;
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of maple syrup;
- 3 tbsp. spoons of Amaretto liqueur;
- 1/2 teaspoon of instant coffee;
- 6 g sweetener (or sugar to taste);
- cocoa or nuts for sprinkling.
Preparation:
Soak the chickpeas in cold water for 12 hours. Then drain the water, place the chickpeas in a saucepan, pour clean water and cook until tender. Drain the water. Add all ingredients, mix and grind with a blender. Roll into small balls from the mass, roll in cocoa or chopped nuts.
Prune candies
Ingredients:
- 300 g prunes;
- 70 g hazelnuts;
- 1-2 teaspoons of honey;
- cocoa or coconut flakes for sprinkling.
Preparation:
Rinse the prunes and scald. Dry the hazelnuts in a pan, rub between two paper towels to clean the skins. Grind into crumbs. Grind prunes in a blender until smooth, add nuts and honey. Blind walnut-sized balls. Roll in cocoa or coconut flakes.
Carrot candies with dried fruits
Ingredients:
- 200 g fresh carrots;
- 80 g pitted dates;
- 50 g dried apricots;
- 20 g soft raisins;
- 50 g coconut flakes, flakes for sprinkling;
- 2-3 st. tablespoons of lemon juice;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation:
Grate carrots finely. Squeeze out the juice. Wash dried fruits, scald with boiling water, chop. Place all products of the recipe in a blender and chop until almost smooth. Roll into balls with wet hands and roll with coconut flakes. Refrigerate for an hour.
