Not sure what you can make with herring? Herring can be a great appetizer. In addition to fish, it contains apples, which give a unique taste and aroma to this dish.
It is necessary

- - 3 medium apples
- - 3 tbsp. l. mustard
- - 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
- - 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
- - 1 tsp vinegar
- - 1 bunch of green onions
- - 1 bunch of dill
- - salt
- - pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the fish from the packaging, rinse a little with water and dry with a paper towel. On a cutting board, cut off the fish's head, cut off the fins, cut the belly and remove all the insides, peel off the skin with a sharp knife, remove the bones, and then rinse the processed fillet in water.
Step 2
Mix mustard with 1 tablespoon of oil, mix thoroughly and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Peel the onion, rinse well, dry on a paper towel and cut into half rings. Set 1 onion aside for now.
Step 3
Take a deep enough baking dish, put a little more than half of the onion in it, on top - the herring fillet, then spread the mustard mixture on the fish, and cover it with the rest of the onion.
Step 4
Turn the oven 180 degrees. Mix the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil with vinegar, salt, pepper, pour this mixture over the herring. Cover the form with foil, send to the oven for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes.
Step 5
Rinse the apples, pat dry on a towel, remove the seeds, and cut the fruit into slices.
Step 6
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put apples and onions in it, fry until soft and golden brown. Remove fish from oven, cut into small pieces. Rinse the greens in running water, chop finely and put on a plate, put pieces of herring and fried apples and onions on top, serve the dish to the table.
