Ingredients:

  1. Beef, pork or chicken liver - 800 g
  2. Chicken egg - 3 pcs.
  3. Flour - 200 g
  4. Milk - 250 ml
  5. Carrots - 200 g
  6. Bulb onions - 2 pcs.
  7. Mayonnaise - 300 g (can be replaced with sour cream with 1 tsp mustard, it will be much more useful)
  8. Tomato sauce (optional) - 3 tbsp. spoons
  9. Parsley - to taste
  10. Salt to taste

How to make liver cake:

  1. First, we prepare the liver. To do this, rinse it and remove the films. We twist the liver in a meat grinder or grind it in a blender.
  2. Add milk, eggs, flour, vegetable oil and salt to the resulting mass and mix thoroughly. Pour this dough into a preheated pan and bake cakes like pancakes, frying on both sides, and you need to grease the pan with vegetable oil only before the first pancake.
  3. We clean onions and carrots. Cut the onion into half rings, and rub the carrots on a coarse grater.
  4. Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil, salt a little.
  5. Now we collect the cake. Put one tortilla, grease with mayonnaise (or sour cream with mustard and tomato sauce), top with a layer of onions and carrots, cover with a second tortilla, repeat until the tortillas run out. When the top cake is placed, you need to squeeze the cake a little to soak it better. But not too much, so that the filling does not crawl out at the edges.
  6. Lubricate the top cake, sides and decorate with herbs.
