It so happens that the soul asks for something sweet, for example, a cake. And at your disposal there is no oven, but there is a multicooker. This is quite enough. We will prepare the Honey cake. I got the recipe from a friend, 25 years ago and was called "Down jacket" in the original.

It is necessary

  • - 3 eggs;
  • - 1 cup of sugar;
  • - 4-6 tablespoons of honey;
  • - 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda;
  • - 2 cups of flour.

Instructions

Step 1

In a metal saucepan with a volume of about 1.5 liters, but with a smaller diameter than a bowl in a multicooker, mix eggs, sugar, honey and soda. At the same time we put water in a multicooker to heat up the "water bath". It should be noted that there may be different options. If you have at least one more electric stove or at least one gas burner, it will be easier to do it on it. In our case, let there be a "water bath" in a multicooker. Choose a mode in which the water boils faster. I choose the "Soup" mode at my place.

Step 2

We put the pan with the mixture in a water bath in a slow cooker and wait for the volume to double, while constantly stirring the contents. The mixture will become a gentle lather.

Step 3

Remove the pot from the "water bath" and add flour. We knead the dough. It may seem liquid, but this is not scary, as it will become thicker when it cools. Or you can add a little more flour, then the cakes will turn out to be denser when baking, but experience shows that with this consistency, the cake will really be a "down jacket" and you should not increase the amount of flour. Leave the dough to cool completely. Let's dry the multicooker bowl.

Step 4

Pour flour on the table. We spread the dough on it and divide it into 6 parts. We begin to roll the cakes along the diameter of your multicooker bowl, sprinkling the dough with flour abundantly. We put it in a bowl (do not grease with oil), put it in a multicooker, turn on the “Baking” mode. Timer for 40 minutes. The first cake will be baked a little longer than the others, since the multicooker will not be preheated yet (although you can put it on preheat just before rolling out the cakes, only with the bowl removed so as not to burn your hands when laying the cake.) You can only bake from one side, but I like it when the cake is rosy on both sides, so I turn it over at the stage of full readiness for another 2-3 minutes. We check the readiness of the cake with a toothpick or a match. I want to note that the rest of the cakes will be baked very quickly: in a preheated oven it took 3-4 minutes, in a multicooker for about 10 minutes. It all depends on the power of your machine and the voltage in the network.

Step 5

The cooled baked cakes are trimmed if necessary, although after a multicooker they are almost always even. Next, any cream is suitable: condensed milk with butter, custard or semolina with lemon. The choice is yours. Spread over all the cakes and collect them into a cake. It's good to let it sit for a few hours to soak.
