A multi-tiered cake is one of the main decorations for a birthday or wedding feast. And it is not at all necessary to order or buy it in a pastry shop or in a store. You can make a delicious and beautiful multi-tiered cake yourself at home.

- 3 eggs;
- 0, 5 tbsp. Sahara;
- 1 tbsp. seedless jam;
- 1 tbsp. strongly brewed tea;
- 1/2 tsp soda;
- 2 tbsp. flour;
- 50 g butter.
- For the custard:
- 500 ml heavy cream;
- 2 egg yolks;
- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- 1 tbsp. l. flour;
- 50 g butter;
- vanillin.
- Besides:
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk;
- whipped proteins;
- berries
- fruits
- marmalade
- candy
- decoration for the cake.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose a cake recipe. For example, a tea cake will be an excellent basis for a multi-tiered treat. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add butter, jam, tea, baking soda, flour. Mix well, knead the batter like for pancakes.
Step 2
Pour it into a baking dish. Preheat oven to 180C. Bake each cake base for 40-45 minutes. The number of cakes depends on how many tiers you plan to make a cake. For example, you can stop at three.
Step 3
The cakes can be cooked in different sizes of tins. Or make the bases for the cake the same, and then cut two of them in diameter. Take two plates - one less than the diameter of the cake by two, and the other by four centimeters. Place a plate in the middle of the crust. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut off the "excess" along the contour. Reduce the bases while they are still hot.
Step 4
While the cakes are browning in the oven, prepare the cream. To connect the bases, you will need boiled condensed milk. Dip a closed can of condensed milk with sugar in a saucepan of water and put on medium heat. You need to cook for 3-4 hours.
Step 5
Make a creamy custard to decorate your cake. Combine yolks, cream, sugar, flour and mix well. Put on low heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Wait for the cream to thicken, remove from heat and chill slightly. Then soften the butter, combine with the cream, add the vanillin and beat with a mixer until smooth.
Step 6
Now join the bases with the cream. Place the largest crust on a flat plate. Lubricate with boiled condensed milk. Put the medium and small bases on top, also soaking them with condensed milk.
Step 7
Cover the entire cake with the custard evenly. Decorate it with whipped whites, fruits and berries, candy, marmalade, or special cake decorations.
