  • - 300 g of fresh cottage cheese;
  • - 100-120 g plum oil (can be replaced with margarine);
  • - 200 g of wheat flour;
  • - 1/2 cup sugar;
  • - 1 egg;
  • - baking powder or soda.

Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to grind the cottage cheese until smooth. You can rub it through a special metal sieve or use a blender.

Step 2

Grind the curd mass well with sugar, then add the raw egg. Stir well again, you can use a whisk.

Step 3

Then add softened butter to a bowl, after cutting it into small pieces. Stir and whisk lightly.

Then you need to add baking powder or soda slaked with acetic acid to the dough. About 1/4 teaspoon.

Gradually add wheat flour and knead the dough. It should be smooth and elastic and not stick to your hands. If necessary, you can add more flour to the cottage cheese dough.

Cover the table with a thin layer of flour and roll out the curd dough. The rolled dough should be about 8 mm thick.

You can cut curd cookies of any shape and size from the dough. Before baking, the cookies can be sprinkled with sugar or brushed with a raw beaten egg on top.
