Meatball Soup is an easy and quick way to feed your loved ones a delicious and flavorful lunch. It is prepared in different ways, but it is with rice that it turns out to be hearty and healthy. Any meat can be used as minced meat.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 liters of water;
- Bay leaf;
- 1 carrot;
- salt;
- 1 onion;
- 2-3 potatoes;
- 3-4 large spoons of rice;
- spice;
- minced meat.
Preparation:
- First you need to rinse the rice. The potatoes should be peeled and cut into small cubes. Put the pot of water on the stove and leave to boil. We throw the sliced potatoes there.
- Add a large spoonful of rice, salt and spices to the finished minced meat. The rice should already be cooked until half cooked. Mix everything thoroughly. If you just have a piece of meat, then you need to make minced meat yourself. To do this, it is enough just to cut all the meat into small pieces and grind it in a meat grinder.
- Send rice to the broth to the potatoes.
- Form balls of the same size from the cooked minced meat with rice. These will be our meatballs. Add them to the broth.
- A little foam may appear during boiling. It will need to be removed.
- Then you can add salt to the soup and use spices. The broth will need to be boiled for another 15-20 minutes.
- Then you should cut the onion into small cubes, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater or cut into strips. Prepare a frying pan, pour oil into it and fry the vegetables until soft. Add the prepared vegetables to the soup and boil for another 5-10 minutes.
- When the rice is done, the soup can be turned off. It will stand a little, and it will be possible to serve it to the table.
